Simply put, moving is challenging. Add to that a long-distance haul, two young children and a tight timeline and well, it could spell disaster. Cindy and her team quickly became our local support network, guiding us through every step of the real estate transaction. Cindy was continually in touch via email, text and phone, and she provided excellent advice throughout the process. The loan lender she recommended was equally fantastic and we closed without a hitch.
Since we did a long-distance closing and would be driving to our new city over four days, Cindy ensured we had the information to setup utilities and even picked up our keys from the builder. She did an additional walk-through on our empty home, noting a few minor cosmetic things to be corrected and turning on the all-important air conditioning. For four days, her team would check on our home since it was empty and in a new neighborhood. When we finally pulled into our driveway, we were greeted by Cindy and her children, balloons and decorations and small gifts for our two children.
After a big relocation, Cindy’s team knew we would need advice on a myriad of topics. How do we get keys to our mailbox? Which local grocery store has great produce? Which water softener company has the best reputation? Should we do a home inspection before our one-year purchase date? Where can we sign up our kids for baseball? In the weeks following our move-in we would deal with the normal moving pains plus a dishonest moving company, but Cindy’s resources and advice melted some of that stress away.
We are grateful to Cindy and her entire team for their fantastic service and appreciation of our family’s unique needs. Nearly a year later, we still keep in touch and have enjoyed a few holiday events at their local office.
